So I'm looking at getting something like this - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-011-MX&groupid=701&catid=2104&subcat=910 - purely for my OS with a bigger SSD or HDD for installing, downloading, ect to .. I was thinking either http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-252-SE or http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-021-CR .. Anyway I was wondering if you lot could recommend maybe a better combo and I'm curious about a few things.

1) What are SSDs like compared to HDDs when it comes to installing them ect?

2) Has anyone experienced any negatives from using a SSD/HDD combo?

Thanks dudes!

don't bother with that first 1.

just go for the crucial and HDD option.

Install OS + apps onto the SSD and everything else onto the HDD.

easier to install than a HDD. you don't even have to screw it down.

Just make sure before u install windows onto it that you change ur mobo sata to AHCI first. Then install windows like normal

Thanks a lot :) .. Seriously no need to screw it down? O.o

Loose is fine functionally unless you move your PC or if its dangling and moving in the wind from a good fan in which case it may rub or fatigue the cable/connector.

Screw them down, velcro them, any method you like or none at all.
