SSD to NVMe

Hi all,

I have a Samsung SSD (250GB) & a 1TB Toshiba HDD. I've just bought a 1TB NVMe. The OS (Windows 10) is on the SSD.

How should I transfer / clone the SSD to the NVMe please?

Free is fine, it's very straightforward.

I carried out Macrium Reflect & have removed the 250GB SSD.

Macrium Reflect has created the following:

How best do I unlock the remainder of the drive, simply & easily, please? Am I best to right clock, C: & extend the volume?

Ps - I'm going to retire the 1TB HDD

Right click on the unallocated part, and extend partition

You could also have allocated all of the space during the imaging process.

Ok - so I right clicked on C: & extended the partition, and have the following

Do I need do anything with the 'Recovery' (499MB) or 'Healthy' (100MB) sections?

And no you don't. Those are created by W10 and need to stay there. Enjoy your fast as hell boot times

Excellent

Yeah I put nvme drives in both my laptop and desktop. A cold boot is stupidly quick, there's no animation just the uefi logo, and 3 seconds later a login screen
