SSD to replace existing HD

Hi , just got a 1tb SSD to replace my 1tb HD D: drive.

Been a while since i last did this but is it just a case of installing drive (presume it will be named E

xcopy d:\ e:\ /s /e /h /i /c /y

Then rename E to D.

all thats on this drive is Steam/Uplay and Epic.

I'd clone it using Macrium Reflect.

Thanks , just found out my new Crucial MX500 comes with Acronis true Image to do the job.

I'm sure Acronis will do the same job. Free either way.

And lot easier, because of no need to do any drive partitioning/formatting etc.
