Hey guys,
I've had my western digital 74GB 10K raptor for a good 3-4 years and feel like it's coming to the end of its life (plus it's very loud!) so was thinking about getting a SSD. It turns out it's only running at 1.5Gb/s transfer rate as well which is a bit weird but never mind.
I've currently got an Abit IP35 pro xe which can only do Sata 2.0 and i've no reason to upgrade my pc for another year yet so am not really too bothered about splashing mega dosh on a Sata 3 SSD unless others tell me it's worth the £25 adapter card?
So my question is which should I get?
Crucial C300 64GB
OCZ Vertex 2E 60GB
Corsair Force 60GB
Are any of these better than the others? It will mostly be used for playing Starcraft 2 and photoshop work for the heavy duty stuff if that makes any difference.
I think the Crucial would be a good buy but the write speeds don't look great compared to the others, will this make a big difference or not?
Cheers.
