SSD Upgrade Options

Hey guys, currently running the following https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...ked-discounted-elite-tier-very-fast.18697252/ bought off here a few years ago. Space on the Samsung 951 is starting to get a bit tight and I'm looking at options for a bigger main drive. I'm out of the loop on storage though, so a couple of questions:

1) Is this drive still high end? Has anything changed massively in the few years since purchase?

2) If nothing has massively changed what's the best option to double storage at at least the same speed?

what are you using the nvme ssd for?

Windows and game installs. I suppose an option would be buy a new 1tb standard ssd and hive off games onto that.

nvme has only limited gains at best (and at worse, unnoticeable IRL gains) over a standard sata3 ssd for those kinds of use.
i'd say, go for an additional 1tb sata3 ssd and chuck your games on that, and leave your 512gb nvme ssd as your main drive

How many m.2 slots do you have on your motherboard? If you have more than one, you could get a m.2 sata ssd.

Just the one I'm afraid.

Going to get a 1tb Sata SSD when I get paid, is there an easy way to move games from one drive to another, without having to reinstall/redownload?

Mostly. 2 or 3 on Origin and then GTA5 separately on the crap Rockstar system.
