I put a 128GB SSD in my PC early last year and for various reasons am thinking of a change.

I could get another 128GB SSD and run it alongside, or I could replace the current one with a larger SSD - prices have dropped quite a bit in the past year!

The current SSD is a Samsung 850 EVO, advice welcome.

PS this PC will be upgraded to Win10 at some point in time, if that makes a difference.

Just get another SSD, and run it along side it? Unless you need the money from selling the 128GB?

Just buy another 850 Evo and use it?

I would go for a 250GB or above. The 128GB ones are slower than the bigger drives and the price differance is not much now.

I agree. The price difference between 250GB and 120GB drives really isn't that much any more OP. You might also save yourself the potential hassle of thinking about upgrading again for a while.

Thanks.

Got a 250GB Evo 250 on order. It will be plenty big enough so I might sell the 128GB - I'll look at what they are going for before I decide what to do with it.
