Hello guys. I have Dell Studio 1535 laptop. I just bought Samsung 840 Pro 256Gb SSD. I turned on AHCI in bios then installed fresh copy of Windows 7. The thing is the speeds are very low you can see in these pictures. My question is why I get these low speeds? I tested this SSD on my desktop pc and the speed was great. I tried to update all drivers but its all the same. My service tag is 9FF2Z3J if you want to check the model on Dell site . This model does not support Windows 7 maybe Windows cant find right drivers ? I just cant figure it out whats the problem. Or maybe its SATA connection? And when I check in device manager it says there that I use Intel AHCI drivers and I know that these are correct ones. And I updated my Bios. Maybe you guys could help me.Thanks

Looks like your laptop is quite old, and therefore will not be using a SATA 3 port for the SSD. I'm not sure if you have SATA 1 or 2, but an earlier SATA port will bottleneck your SSD performance.
