SSD V NVMe for Windows 11

I have a crucial 1tb ssd and I'm planning on buying a 1tb nvme,I will be running Windows 11 so should I use the ssd for Windows and use the nvme for the gaming drive, the nvme will be 4.0 as I've got a alder lake to build.

Yes. Games only load a fraction of a second quicker off an NVMe drive than a SATA SSD. So put the OS on it where it'll have more benefit.

You won't notice the difference in the real world whichever you install your OS on.

But unless you're planning to fill 1TB with the OS and software... I'd personally install Windows on the NVME, but do a split 250-500gb partition for it. Then the remaining 500-750gb as another games partition, plus your 1TB SSD for games too.
