SSD very h ot?

I just noticed my temps, is this normal under load? I think my SSD is too hot?

I have 2*140mm fans blowing across my SSDs and it reads 47C today, so seems normal to me

With this case, I found it hard to put the SSD in the slots given. It seems very tight and it was even hard to plug them in, the SSD slot is behind the motherboard over side of the case... so no fans are near that. Is it just a bad case?

I think it'll be fine

most cases have slots like that, my case has two slots in front of the board above the PSU, so it gets a bit more airflow, but I think 50C in todays temperatures is fine.

Those drives seem hot in my opinion.

I dunno, the air temp yesterday must. Have been in mid to high 20s, my SSD with decent airflow was sat at 47C my 6600K was in low 30s idling, I think when temps drop in general, the SSD temp will come down to mid 40s.

I guess it depends on your fan placement.

Yesterday was the first time I've had to press my fan switch to change from 5v to 12v

what is the temp like now, i am sure the weather has got cooler today???...now if it still the same you might been to find an area to put the SSD or get some more airflow in that area.
