OK, so I've spent the afternoon attempting to use HDDerase to wipe my ssd for a fresh reinstall.

It refuses to work at all, so now that I'm completely fed up, is it OK just to format using the Windows 7 tool when installing windows during setup?

I assume trim will just remove the old bits over time, and speed will be back to normal quickly?

When re-installing OS, I always secure erase the SSD using HDD Erase 3.3 to make sure it's in Tip-top condition prior to installing.
