Hey guys
I have the Asus P6T deluxe V1 and the Raid controller is only SATA II
Want to get an SSD and raid0 it to max my computer out! and was wondering if using this controller or buying SATA III one that fits into a PCI slot would be better?
Also worried about the SATA controllers conflicting as i will be installing Windows 7 on the SSD which will be connected to the SATA III controller in the PCI slot!
MY on board raid controller is Marvell:
Southbridge
6 xSATA 3 Gb/s ports
Intel Matrix Storage Technology Support RAID Marvell 88SE6320 2 x SAS (RAID 0 and 1)
Marvell 88SE6111
1 xUltraDMA 133/100/66 for up to 2 PATA devices
1 xExternal SATA port (SATA On-the-Go)
Thanks guys
