SSD with windows 7

I too have windows 64, and 8 gb ram, but my pc is noisy and i want to make it near silent, so SSD will help and some new Fans

I use an SSD in my laptop - I'd recommend it as a great upgrade - quick boot, v.responsive

Unless of course you like loads of space, in which case its going to be a very expensive upgrade - or a non-starter!

ssd rock! get an intel one either the x25m and x25e they will make a huge difference on win 7.

yes but intel is much better im talking 250mb/s read and 170 write and in raid 500mb/s thats insane!

what size are the drives you got, and I bet there expensive. If I bought 2 x 128 they are faster, but I dont have the money for 2 x 128gb

i got 2 80gb ones but im hoping to get the extreme intel ssds there will be a 128gb version and a 256gb one in q1 of 10, so look out.
