I would like to buy an M.2 MVNe SSD and use it for heavy data transfer applications. I have read that many SSDs suffer from overheating. Do you know M.2 MVNe SSDs that don't have the overheating problem?

need one with a heatsink on it, big heatsink is good iv seen a western digital one thats heatsinked. check those out. or you may be able to get a aftermarket heatsink too

Haven't yet had any problems with a Samsung 970 evo plus with a heatsink on it albeit only 3.5GB/s not the 5+GB ones.

Definitely needs a heatsink though without it can hit 70+C and apparently thermal throttle though I've not had it throttle yet but with the heatsink stays below 50C.

Put a heatsink on it and buy a riser board. The riser board gets it off the motherboard and in to the flow of air in the case.
