SSD?

I only want to use this for the OS so space is not the most important part
can I use the OCZ in a standard pc and what is the better one in general for quality?

One is an Expresscard and one is a normal SSD.

The OCZ Slate Series 32GB is expresscard so it will not go into a normal desktop PC without an Expresscard adapter.

The Express card is woefully slow and the SSD is okay but not as good as an Intel SSD.

I would recommend you go for an Intel X25-V 40GB which suits your budget more: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-006-IN&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=910

What about the kingston one?

The 64GB Kingston uses a really slow, dodgy controller chip (JMicron). It's not worth buying. The 40GB Intel drive is much, much quicker.
