ok,i got 2 x25-m 160gb ssd's in raid 0.when i first set them up i put a fresh install of windows 7 and they worked ok.i then installed my backup image using acronis which worked but they were out of alignment so i used paragon alignment tool which did work.all was well until i think one of the kids put a worm on somehow.i formatted and did a secure erase.then set them up again in the same way.this time i just get to the windows loading screen then it bsods with a stop code 7b.they work with a fresh install of windows but each time i put the backup image on i get the 7b stop code.any ideas folks???

Corruppted backup is possible i've had something simlar i would just use a fresh install for SSD anyway.

the thing is i'm using 2 normal hdds on the same ich10 controller in raid 0and they are working fine so it's not a driver issue.i have done a new backup of my c drive and it still bsods with the 7b code.it seems that the way to get it to boot is to set it to ide and not ahci.thats not an option with raid though

Try turning SMART off in bios and boot up if that's not the problem i guess you could flash the drives with the newest firmware but this means another reinstall.. :(

smart is already turned off.1 of the drives has the latest firmware and 1 does'nt.i can't flash that drive because the firmware update is not finding the ssd's.i'm trying to update them seperately by the way,not in raid0
