Hi folks, just starting to spec a new system, but looking round when you install a ssd you have to have ahci switched on for redundant data collection, i was very interested in installing 2 ssd's in raid 0 but then some boards don't allow you to switch on the ahci, budget for board around £200 unless i can't get one for this, thanks in advance for recommending boards, will also keep researching this topic. Phil. PS, haven't built a system since my Q6600... :0

any board should support raid 0 and trim with latest intel storage drivers

for raid you would set to raid mode not ahci
