Hi. I'd be grateful if someone could help me out? Stable 4ghz OC on corei7 950 (Prime 95). When I try to push the RAM beyond 1300mhz will boot into windows but freezes after couple of seconds on running Prime 95. Have tried to keep QPI freq as low as possible. Even with 1.64V DRAM not getting anywhere. Any suggestions? System spec as below.

Try running mem test on the RAM, This is will create a boot disc and hopefully you can set the memory to 1600mhz and check.

The Corsair Dominator 6GB PC3-12800 DDR3 triple channel memory kit was able to reach 1820MHz with the stock timings and voltages, which is very impressive.

mb: 6 x DIMM, Max. 24 GB, DDR3 2000(O.C.)*/1866(O.C.)*/1800(O.C.)*/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory

so it should work, did you leave the memory timings on auto ?

when you are pushing memory it is best to leave the timings on auto and then try and bring them down, once you have a working oc frequency
