Hey, I was just wondering if this would be a stable setup

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600

Asus Striker Extreme

Corsair® 2Gb (2X1Gb) TwinX XMS2 Dominator, DDR2 PC6400C4, 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS CAS 4-4-4-12, EPP

Coolermaster iGreen 500W PSU ATX Form Factor 12V V2.2 / SSI standard EPS
12V V2.91

250 GB Seagate Barracuda SATA2 7200.9 16MB Cache

Asus GeForce 768MB 8800GTX PCI-E (x16), Mem 1800MHz, GPU 575MHz, Stream 128, 2 x Dual Link DVI-I/HDTV

If anyones had issuses with any of the above, or thinks I should replace any items at all, please let me know! thx

Right ok, Ill be going with the corsair PSU now then thx.

Now with the memory I notice its not 'sli ready'? or doesnt that really matter? Seeing as I failed to mention before that Ill be getting two 8800 gtx cards.

The only thing Im wary about now is if I should go for the striker extreme or the bfg 680i motherboard, or does anyone recommend a different motherboard? Ive heared about a lot of compatibility issues with the striker extreme and corsair memory but Ive also heared its quite common along 680i boards.

and yeah, I will probably be overclocking!

I wouldn't bother with the 680i chipset tbh. There really isn't anything it does over a P5N 650 SLi, or for that matter a DS3/4 or a P5B.

SLi ready memory is a gimmick, ignore it.

I would hold off getting two 8800 GTXs until you've seen what one is like. The only reason to get to is if you have a 30" dell monitor and run it at maximum res.
