This was the Higher Quality youtube as far as im concerned.
Anyone know of another site like this.

It's rubbish, there's no HD content and the quality of what is there is nowhere near as good as Stage6 used to be.

"It would look better on stage6"
"Not as easy to download vids like stage6" ect...

Absolute B/S. The quality of VEOH video's is the same as what is uploaded. So if you watch a crap quality video, it's only because some idiot uploaded a crap quality version of it from their HD.

But tbh, if all you Stage6 fanboys wish to boycott veoh, then all the better as far as I'm concerned. It means veoh is less likely to suffer the same fate.

i have been using veoh, you tube, mega video, go fish and stage 6

stage 6 was clearly the best for quality so i do not see how i would be a stage 6 fan boy since i used what ever one had the content i was after.
 
They say that they closed it down due to financial reasons, but they could have easily added some advertisements. I think we all know they closed it down due to the piracy. Maybe they couldnt afford the risk of copyright lawsuits.

i don't understand how seek can say with a straight face that veoh is better though.

he was saying similar stuff in my thread as well that was called "stage6 bye bye"
 
Well im going to give VEOH a go & find some HD content & i hope i can play streamed un embedded like Stage6 & resize to what i like with the cool image smoothing.
 
I always get sample 10 minutes or whatever on veoh saying download if you want it all. If you register can you watch online wihtout downloading for full length?
 
jackzipper just download veoh tv it lets you view the large files in one go and full screen.

the larger vid files have a limit on the main site eg if your going to watch a file thats 120 minutes the veoh site will only give you 5 minutes of it while veoh tv lets you view the whole thing and has an option to download it as well :)

Yeah, Veoh adds a little applet for firefox/IE and you can watch the full thing. Not particularly keen on people forcing things on me but it doesn't seem to do too much harm. Just sits at the bottom right of the window in the lil status bar thing.
 
yeh veoh tv sits in the system tray but i use the main veoh site for searching for vid's i find it a lot better for searching for stuff and if i find something ill click it and then click the play on veoh tv thingy which starts up veoh tv :)

the vid quality sucks compared to stage 6 though and i loved the stage6 way of searching for stuff all you had to do was search for something then hit the show results by length and you had full episodes of stuff coming up straight away in dvd quality :)
