Why would that end be more liable to rust? Minus any small splinters that remain from the cutting process.
Keep in mind though that if you use a carbon steel blade then any particles left behind may rust.
and what environment will it need to operate in?What do you need it for?

And make sure you don't join the stainless steel to other metals that may cause galvanic corrosion.

Stainless pipe/tube is horrid, most likely 304 stainless which has nothing in it to help it being cut![]()
