Stalker 2

It got very boring towards the end and i just stopped doing any side quests / non story's line and just went for endgame just to get it finished. The development team seem to be a bit lost .they have created this very big and detailed world but do not know how to make the most of it from a gamers perspective. Also the relentless patching, constant up dates did not help a patch would get installed to fix some problem but break other parts of the game.

I'd have to disagree with you, there is masses to do and discover if you just explore, I think it's more that you don't know how to make the most of the big and detailed world. It's one of those games that's hugely rewarding if you're an OCD compulsive explorer. So many little hidden details, obviously painstakingly handcrafted, little notes and pda's that explains something you've found or sometimes no explanation at all and you can create your own narrative. I lost far to many hours just picking a direction and seeing where it took me.

Not saying you're wrong for not liking it, just we look at it from a different perspective, and that's fine.

Fed up with waiting for HWRT. I might just play this as it has had tons of updates and fixes aince release where i played maybe a quarter or a third of the game. I will resume from that.

Got a few other games I am going to give a go and see if they grab me, if not will be playing this :D

It is good to see the overall feedback of this latest patch is favourable, seems to have gone down well with many saying it's now taking shape to be a proper Stalker game. I'm still holding off but would like to load this up again soon

Is there any evidence to show they are even working on HWRT?

I keep intending to reinstall this but oh my... the disk space that's required.

Note to self: must buy at least an additional 4TB of storage.
I remember your love of the original Stalker series and seeing your posts back in the day :) I think it was why I got into those games back then.
I thought you would've had a separate HDD just for your Stalker stuff :D
What did you think of number 2? For me it wasn't the game I wanted it to be, but I think now (with recent patches) it does have the potential to be, but it's not there yet.
