Stalker + AA = :(

Yeah so i just picked this up and threw the settings on max and the game looked ok, but the jaggys were terrible.

I restarted my computer, even tried the latest drivers but AA still wont work.

Any ideas?

Use the in-game AA. Normal AA doesn't work.

Have you got HDR and AA on? Im not sure if nvidia cards can handle both at the same time, of course i could be wrong as im not so familiar with the 8 series cards. Try turning off HDR and see if AA is on.

You have to type "r2_aa on" into the console. Even then it's not real AA, it's just a blur effect.

I think HDR and AA cant be used cuase Half Life 2 Loast Coast does it fine.

And i did enable it in the Stalker options. I've just reinstalled it and still no diffrence...

Thats because Stalker can not do AA, as said above its just a blur effect that makes no difference.

But Lost Coast doesn't use deferred rendering, Stalker does.

It's the same system used in games like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.
