STALKER mods

Does anyone have any good STALKER mods, particularly for UI and such?

Thanks. Any of those reduce performance at all? Also, looking at the readme of Faiakes, it looks like it'd just make the game quite a bit easier?

The Fiakes mod doesn't work for me. Well it does - it loads up the new game, but when I click to get my first mission, the game crashes.

Yes I'm using the latest version. Along with the SHARPER textures mod. Playing on 1.0005 patch.
It's at the start of the game where you're in that basement and the slighty fat guy either gives you a tutorial or the first mission. I click the mission.

Thanks for your help! I'm intrigued by the changes in Faiakes so I may have to make the effort to uninstall and then reinstall the game again.

I heard a few months ago that Simbion was being translated. Doesn't anyone know the progress of that?
