Stand alone mic? Headset?

Hi,

My medusas has finally broken so im looking for a new replacement.

I already own multiple pairs of sennheisers...I usually use my hd650s wired into my home cinema setup for late night gaming, movies etc and my hd 600s for PC stuff so would another headset really be needed?

Any suggestions for headsets or mics?

Certainly no need for another pair of headphones or headset considering what you already have, only suggestion would be look at getting a good soundcard if you haven't aleady.

As stated above though the elara clip on mic is well regarded, I haven't used it myself as I've just had a speedlink desktop mic on my desk for what seems like decades.

AWESOME, he already has the best pairs of senns and needs to buy an inferior set just for gaming.

Deadlymoses, you are a lucky man having both of those as they are both excellent headphones. Just enjoy as you won't be able to get an awful lot better unless you go uber high end.

I must ask, what amp are you using with your 600s or are they wired directly to the soundcard ? In this instance an amp will give you one hell of a boost as the higher end senns really do benefit from one. Something like a Darkvoice 336 or wooaudio.
