in power properties in xp, i have set it so if my laptop is idle for 1 hour, it will go into standby but i have also set hibernate to 2 hours, to save on battery even more.
given the above settings is this what it should be doing in this example:
1pm: turn machine on and leave idle
2pm: machine goes into standby mode as per power properties
(now here is where i'm confused, which of the two is it supposed to do..)
3pm: machine goes into hibernate now because its 2 hours from when i left it idle (ie 1pm)
4pm: machine goes into hibernate now because its 2 hours from when it went to standby (ie 2pm)
