I bought one of these 13 months ago:
80D x 180W x 100H centimetres

The massive one basically, I kept the black worktop on it and its still great to be honest.
I use the stand up feature every day im working doors.

The only problem I've had, happened last week. The bar which connects the other leg to lift came lose and popped out. Flexispot says to take the tabletop off to repair (2 monitors and clamps, a pc, DAC, laptop and dock, absolutely not), which does look to be a sensible choice. Equally I laid under the desk, lifted the table top and leg up enough for them to interlock again.
Some plastic has broken on a clip related to it, but it doesnt stop it locking or working.

180 is huge I currently have 160w ikea desk. Thanks for the feedback I think I might go for the E7 as it has low minimum high.
Do you find your self standing a lot still when using it?

Yeah the minimum high is a bit to low for me!
180w is huge, but I've got my case on the desk and split monitors from a work and gaming perspective.
I stand up when I'm working at home for at least 3 hours of the day.

I have a Flexispot E7, just the base. Used my own top I already had.
Worked fine for couple years, then the motors started going wrong. It would audibly strain to lift. E7 is rated at something like 100Kg's. I don't think I was anywhere near that. Just mid tower pc + laptop, big monitor, couple speakers, and some peripherals. However my desktop is quite heavy. It's large, but I wouldn't say more than 50kgs. Eventually the control unit just started giving error codes.
I wrote to Flexispot and they sent me 2 new motors. I installed them in 2025 and it's been ok since.

My wife bought an E5 I think, with the top. I put it together. Hasn't had any issues with it. She doesn't raise it up and down that often, and only has 1 laptop and monitor on it.

Had my Flexispot for a few years without issue. Nice bamboo top. Large monitor, wide glass shelf and a chunky ITX PC haven't caused it any issue. Dual motors preferred which I believe Flexispot have as standard.

I am looking at the bamboo but worried it was to soft? I tend to to drop things....

When isave enough I'll be getting the secrtlabs magnas a bit pricey but it's perfect for my needs great cable management is my top priority.

Thank you all for the replies I will go for the E7 Just need to renovate my room first

They currently have a sale going on atm, I think they have a lot of sales apparently.

Yeh been keeping a eye on the site but the offer I need finished a few weeks ago and I don't notice.

I have the E7 Pro with a 180cm Rubber Wood top. Thing is very good dont regret buying it at all. One piece of advice get someone to help you build it. Its not hard but so much easier if you have an extra pair of hands.

My mrs helped me so the person doesnt need to be strong - just able to hold the legs in place while you mount them.

Enjoy it - its a great bit of kit for the money.

I went with the 4 legged Maidesite T4 Pro Plus and it's nice and rugged. I've only got a 140x70 top on it but I can put a bigger top on when I move it somewhere with more space in the future.

I've had the E7 since 24. Just make sure you plan your cabling (in some cases 120cm extra for cable lengths for monitor cables, docks and power cables).

If you have a lot of monitor weight planned considered a deeper desktop and offsetting it from centre to counterbalance as sometimes the motor thinks theres instablilty going through 70-80cm and "backs" off if I adjust height too quickly.

I was looking at the Vernal exec desk but unfortunately it comes in laminate, unlike their more basic standing desks which have hardwood options.

I have a flexispot dual motor desk from late covid times which I've had no issues with.

Top tip when assembling and routing cables; put desk to its highest most position, not only does this save you ducking underneath but also allows you to leave enough slack in the cables so that it doesn't strain anything.

Lots of the desks have collision assist which will detect if something is amiss. Something an IKEA desk i demo'd did not do, buckling the chair underneath and tipping over! :D

Standing whilst working was a novelty for a while but must admit i spend majority of its time in seating position!

Maybe too late to be of use to you, but I have Flexispot, can't remember which model number, but it's a four legged one. I highly recommend getting 4 legs over two, especially if you use monitor arms (and if you don't, you should) because the arms connect to the back of the desk any wobble gets exaggerated by them.

Still need to finish decorating so I haven't ordered a desk yet, thanks for the feedback everyone

I recently bought a Secretlab Magnus XL, and it’s fantastic. Unfortunately, the experience was soured by terrible service, not from Secretlab, but from the third-party company they use for assembly. Still, it reflects poorly on them.

A word of caution: if you pay extra for on-site or at-home assembly, don’t. The delivery company that attempted to put mine together was a nightmare; they had no clue what to do and only a limited amount of time to do it. I asked them to leave because it was comical.
