Standing desks

Tried one of those at the weekend at Ick Ear and had hours of fun winding it up and down...

Ended up with the gaming desk instead.

Before I retired, I once had to politely and firmly explain to work's Occupational Therapist why I'd refused a standing desk, despite her repeated insistence that I *really* needed one...

"...because unless I Go-Go-Gadget my arms & neck, it'd be pretty useless for a bloody wheelchair user." :rolleyes:

Reminds me of a video I saw last week of a homeless dude asking some chicks returning from a night out what they were most looking forward to - she says without thinking it through "oh man my nice warm bed.............oh sorry!!"

A homeless once asked me for a cigarette - when I obliged, he took it, put it to his lips, then said "EURGHH, MENTHOL!!??" and spat it on the ground.

That was when I realised beggars can, in actual fact, be choosers.
