Stanford Servers

Must be a killer for the guys with big GPU farms though :(

I've only got a gtx295 and its ~90% of my output, virtually stopped me dead in the water!

Well those two i had lasted all of an hour :p

So cold in here it's not normal :(
Mine haven't had anyting all night, i've had to put the heating on!!!!

Oooo, a restart bumped me onto another server :) well thats another hours work lined up...

I thought they had multiple servers for just this reason? Someone has dropped the ball there if they have allowed the highest contributing client to sit idle!

A quarter of the way through my 2nd 353;)
I think the problem was that all the traffic was directed to the one server. Every time I restarted the client it was the same one.
I hope its fixed now.

Still nothing here. Thank God 90% of my output is CPU (won't be saying that next time the CPU work servers go down :p).

well ive now been without a gpu unit for 24hrs
and the stanford server list still dont show there is a problem with the server 171.67.108.21

ive finally got 4 gpu units only time will tell if the server problems have been sorted.

Thanks for the posts. It's early AM in Califorina (that's why this went unfixed for several hours), but I think we've got everything going again. I've contacted Joe regarding this issue: there was a WS bug.

I've also balanced the weights so the other NV WS's can get into the mix better and improve the redundancy.

so it now should be sorted
