LENS FLARE IN 3D!

That just made it for me, along with all the action and hype, I can't wait!

The 3D trailer I saw at the Hobbit had a sequence of them running through trees/plants with spear being thrown at them (iirc)

It was the worst 3D I have ever seen and the blurring and motion just made me feel that ill, I swore I would only watch this in 2D.

Was the trailer you saw any better?

There were a couple of action scene where I thought there's a feeling of focus blur, not sure if it was made to look like so or the limits of 3D to rate of action. Didn't feel sick, more different from my usual viewing.

Iron Man 3D didn't have any problem with me. Watched Hobbit in 2D, so can't compare.

Personally I think it's the limit of 3D with fast action sequences when at 24fps as I do notice it in a lot of films, it was just that sequence in the Star Trek trailer I found particularly bad.

I am hoping that 48fps will cure a lot of the issues, as it did in the Hobbit, as long as we can cure the new artifacts that brings :p

Not that I am a huge fan of 3D anyway tbh.

just checked my local cineworld listings again and they have 2D. thank **** for that, last time i checked it was showing 3D only.

and there's no way i'm clicking that link above. i'll go and see it with an open mind. :p

My local is showing it tonight. Debating whether or not to go to the 00:05 showing on my own. I would've been going to the 10:30am showing in the morning anyway as I'm off this week. £4 difference in price tonight vs tomorrow. Hmmmm.

12pm showing tomorrow at BFI IMAX, then seing it again at 3pm! Cannot wait! \o/

Wtached that at the Imax, thought it was amazing!.

booked 1 ticket for 8.30 showing £7.50 what a bargain for a thursday, considering normal price is about £11!.

Nothing better going on your own, if my wife came she would ask all through the movie what was going on.
