Yes, that's right. All FIVE Captains of Star Trek have provided voice-over for the upcoming Star Trek: Legacy game. William Shatner (Kirk), Patrick Stewart (Picard), Avery Brooks (Sisko), Kate Mulgrew (Janeway) and Scott Bakula (Archer) are all providing their voices to the game. It should be noted that this is only the second Star Trek game to feature the voice of Avery Brooks! And obviously the first to feature Bakula.

Most of their screen shots show Enterprise getting pwnd :p
Not a very good marketing gimmick :D

Any hoo, looks very interesting. I'll buy on one condition:
DO I actually get to control the vessel in question in real time. I.e. if I press "phaser cannons" it will do it straight away and if I press left it will go left.

Or is it more RPG where I have to give it a set of commands and watch it whilst getting a cuppa?

Real-time. Use your mouse or joystick to control the ship directly.
 
ive been looking for an st game like this since Bridge commander. been a bloody long wait so im looking forward to this.

ST: Armada was good, as was Elite Force (this was made by Raven 'nuff said), and Bridge Commander.

There have been some good ST games, although I am an ST fanboy and therefore biased.
