Star Trek: Legacy - All Five Captains Onboard!

what about capt pike, capt decker, and others?
Considering that Jeffrey Hunter (Captain Christopher Pike) has been dead since 1969, and that Stephen Collins (Captain Willard Decker) is filming a movie right now, then I imagine it would be quite difficult for them to have gone providing voice acting for a video game, don't you?

Edit: Oh, and nobody cares about Pike or Decker, that would be the other reason.

ST: Armada was good, as was Elite Force (this was made by Raven 'nuff said), and Bridge Commander.

There have been some good ST games, although I am an ST fanboy and therefore biased.

Armada no, was that not trying to be what this is?

Yeah I had EF, didn't think much of it as a FPS, star trek or not it was so linear I got rid

Cannot wait this is sounding better and better, and I hope it is sorta like bridge commander cos hey that was real fun !

They can really make this special if they unite trek with all the eras... no other game has done this appart from bc+mods :)

That looks nice, a pleasent surprise as I thought IGN video's were a let down.

I dont like the way if ship A is firing a phaser at ship B, and ship C goes between them, the phaser just goes through ship C like it doesn't exist.

The producer has said they are placeholder graphics. The version shown at E3 was a very early version.

Yes, that's right. All FIVE Captains of Star Trek have provided voice-over for the upcoming Star Trek: Legacy game. William Shatner (Kirk), Patrick Stewart (Picard), Avery Brooks (Sisko), Kate Mulgrew (Janeway) and Scott Bakula (Archer) are all providing their voices to the game. It should be noted that this is only the second Star Trek game to feature the voice of Avery Brooks! And obviously the first to feature Bakula.

Looks good but it reminds me quite a bit of Armada in graphics, nothing stunning but good enough, i hope you can control the battle in an RTS style as well as FPS.

The FAQ says the developer is actually Mad Doc Software who made Armada 2 and Empire Earth 2, from what i remember Armada 2 didn't do that well and wasn't even in the shops that long. :(

cheers sry i actually thought that "star trek online" mentioned was a very old old online multiplayer game....now that i see it it isnt. Looks quite spiffing! :D

That's because he was a completely rubbish actor, and nobody else has ever wanted him :p

Seriously, what were they thinking? I've seen turnips with more personality.

Avery brooks On ds9 did some of the finest acting ever, just like patrick stewart he was doing plays/shakespeare long before trek and if u watched Ds9 all 7 seasons you wouldnt have said that !

Hmm Armada 2.... u know I played Armada 1 online to death but the system/RTS style wasnt that impressive not like say LOTR online where u level up and the more damage u do the better/

I played Armada 2 for a bout 10 minutes and hated it they changed everything about it thats why it flopped even some of the basic mods were better, judging from the movies I posted legacy feels like Bridge Commander..... and im happy about that :)
