Star Wars: 1313 - thread

A brand new Star Wars game has been officially revealed tonight. It's called Star Wars: 1313.
While little has been actually disclosed about the title, Lucasarts describes it as a "third person cinematic action adventure game", while the game is named after "Level 1313, a ruthless criminal underground deep below the surface of the planet of Coruscant".
You won't be playing a jedi, instead taking control of a bounty hunter who "uses human skills and gadgets, rather than supernatural Force powers, to make his way through this dangerous world".

Sounds like Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, i'll be keeping an eye on it, but i wish they'd turn their attention to Kyle Katarn and keep making games with you playing as him, as they're brilliant.

I really want it to be free roaming like the true crime series or GTA.

Interestingly, it also appears that it's shooting for a Mature rating, which would be a pretty big deal for a franchise that's normally been reluctant to let the childhood market go in the name of blood, booze, boobs and space drugs.

If Lucasarts develop it internally it will be completely ****. Get Bioware to do it and it has potential. They've finished the ME series more or less, SWTOR is mainly content and bug fixes so they have the time.

Agree about the space sim shooter though!

Be interesting to see just how mature the writing is. TOR drove me spare with some of its storylines, the jedi academy was like a mid-west American high school full of spoilt kids. I can't see offhand who developer is, anyone?
