Anyone got this game? Just got this game off MM.

Everytime when I load the game, it just crashes to the desktop, any idea?

i got this game, brilliant, although i only played it when i had xp and it ran fine with no issues. think i had a 6800nu at the time i played it. very good squad based fps.

post some system specs.

What drivers you using?

I know some have got issues with the game not loading, they were Vista drivers but some of the drivers are on XP too.

I tried 158.27 and 160.03 both crashes me to desktop.

Try reinstalling directX

From the Forceware release notes, known issues:

Star Wars: Republic Commando: Application crashes when starting a
new game.[254010]

You may be able to get it running with earlier drivers, although having a gf8 you probably can't go back all that far.
