Star Wars: The CLone Wars

Just saw this and must say I'm very iintrigued/excited though I know I probably shouldn't be.

Another one here

What does everyone else think of these?

I heard about a Star Wars show a while back but I was under the impression it was going to be live action, is the same one but changed? This looks brill anyway, can't wait to see some action, the sound is most impressive too but then I don't expect anything less from Lucas's studios. Yoda look funny he does! Jabba needs more pizza textures

This first an then a live action show from what I've read/heard. Live action will focus on other characters away from the main stroy we know.

They should be great. The last set of Clone Wars animated shows were 10 kinds of awesome so hopefully these will be just as good

Theres gonna be a Series of the above CGI (over 100 episodes at 20mins each) which wil start with a feature film (probably the first 5-6 episodes back to back tbh).

Seperately, there is a live action TV series set between ep 3 and 4, and is based around other expanded universe characters. These are to be 1 hour slot shows (so 45mins) and will become a long epic series, think stargate etc. Hundreds of episodes/many series and shoot off series.

Cant wait, can never have enough star wars. Hopefully the popularity of the shows when they're released will start development of a new galaxies!

Not sure what to think, but hoping for the best. Ol' George really is doing his best to milk this.

I don't think he's too involved with much of this, possibly just overseeing the entire project.

If the fans didn't want it then "ol George" as you put it wouldn't bother.
He wouldn't spend time on something nobody wanted or was going to watch.

Best way, If Lucas wrote it I wouldn't even bother watching it.

I dont think it's being milked at all, there is a huge demand for it and anything star wars related.

Never really watched the Clones Wars cartoons that were on Nik i think it was, but this looks very cool. With Force Unleashed coming out this year as well, we're getting a nice 'hit' of Star Wars it seems.
