Starcraft 2 OCUK Tournament 4

hello im back from my suspension now ;) it was good fun I can tell you.

Thanks to everyone getting on with their games during those dark days lol....so normal service has resumed and I can now address any questions here if needed.

I have a question : at the moment i have the ladder system set for 5 matches so thats 2 left for most of us, would you like to see this extended to more and just judge a winner that way or would you like as originally intended where the top half go into the brackets and the bottom half leave the tourny?

i think its working well as is and everyone seems to be getting on board with the once a week games so tempted just to carry on with the ladder system?? let me know.....

The ladder is working well. I'd be happy for it to continue like that tbh.
 
My vote would be to extend the group phase a bit longer, maybe 4 more games, but then move it into some sort of BO3 elimination phase. Only problem with keeping it as a ladder is the guys at the bottom will lose interest as they can't catch up, and the guys at the top don't feel any sense of excitement about progressing towards a final.
 
I would like to see it go into some sort of elimination bracket. Makes things a bit more exciting that way.

and Hummuh, when are you available for our game?
 
I've never even clicked on the ladder option, I always play quick match, how do ladder games work?

Sorry, probably should've posted this in the original thread and not the tournament one.
