Starcraft 2 problems: please help

Hi everyone, just bought starcraft 2 but i dont have the net in for a few days so iv gone to me grans to install it but i was wondering if i can even play it without an internet connection

also when i run the game i have no mouse curser and showing but the mouse is there, any idea

It is pretty lame Joe. You can play as a guest though. It should save your progress through the game (best check this at the beginning though) although you won't be able to unlock achievements.

I believe it has an offline mode, when not internet connection is detected it should allow you on. At least it worked to run two copies at once for single player.

You can play it once it is activated. But if you're offline you can't get achievements.

cheers people im currently without internet due to being messed about by sky and bt (paying for both broadbands at once) so i usually do have the internet.

i just wanted to have a go of single player to see what its like but i can wait like

also my mouse curser is missing when i get to the sign in screen, any ideas?

once you have installed it with a net connection, go online to your bnet account and enable offline play, you'll then be able to play offline.

I must say its not the best of systems for the offliners, but it is workable!

Remember though, if you are playing offline, as far as im aware you can't get achievments for your single player campaign/challenges.

I think, Kar has this issue sometimes, apparently its something to do with ATI Graphics Cards? i could be wrong!
Try updating your graphis drivers and playing with the in-game settings. i hd a couple of issues when i first ran the game, messed around with some settings and all was fine

haha sorted it i thought i'd give it another go and the mouse worked fine

and i noticed the sign in as a guest mode so at least i got to give the single player a go, really enjoyed it even on normal (hard was too hard

)
