Starcraft : The old one (best one imo)

I am looking at getting this game but wondering will it run on XP and how big is it? I suspect it's under 500meg? don't haave a lot of space left.

Anyone know excact size ?

its about 100 meg install i seem to remember and yes it works on xp but not xp64bit i think

Starcraft is something like 85Mb on my PC.
What do you mean by "the old one"? Was there a new starcraft?

Sorry, I nearly died last night, drank faaaaaaaar too much and just got up.

StarCraft + BW can be compressed to 36MB with everything bar music still fully functioning.

It runs on XP perfectly ( it's still regularly updated because of its popularity ) and without maps the regular patched install ( SC + BW ) takes up 91.6MB

But that would not play anything like starcraft does, it would just be an extremely watered down SC for the graphics ******.

The SC fans would not be amused.

Single player - the missions are numbered for a reason, follow the plotline dude

It will run fine on XP amd is far less than 500meg.

I was VERY addicted to this game few years ago but then I quit, there was this map IIRC called "Siege Bunker", it was cool I should install the game again.
