Minerals are the backbone of your resources and gas is used for technology purposes. Naturally gas is rarer than minerals. It's a very fast paced game compared to most RTS games and has a lot of depth.

Edit: the bot is now up and running so just visit the channel "op ocuk" to register your interest.

Am I doing something horribly wrong if I have massive stockpiles of gas but a shortage of minerals?

Aye, not getting enough minerals. You should never have abouve 100 of each.
