So you look up at the night sky and wonder about what you see. Well for the next three evenings Prof Brian Cox and Dara O Briain will be looking up and showing you how to observe the night sky and take photographs.

This looks like it will be both quite educational and humorous.

See you out in the garden at 8pm. :)

/looks up
Hmmm.. clouds..
/goes back inside..

Could be an interesting show, but knowing these kind of things, will rely more on the presentation, than the content.

Brian Cox, yes. Dara O Briain, no. Jonathan Woss, no.

Why they couldn't just let Cox run with this one on his own is beyond me. Presumably it's partly down to the fact it's live and he's not the greatest at working without the aid of a safety net and partly to draw the crowds in to laugh at the funny people making jokes.

Oh well, let's hope it's not a complete train wreck.

Didn't the beeb get rid of ross and send him off to channel 4 or something? why oh why did they invite him back? what a waste of air..

I have all the time in the world for Brian Cox, the guy just has a way with words and explaining things that just clicks. His wonders of the solar system program was a real cracker

did he really moan about spook not having problems breathing? when that scene on the film is of his home planet of vulcan.

Seems to have gone off at a tangent - as much as I love sci-fi movies why have this in a stargazing programme? Don't think its supposed to be a geek debate on warp speed of if the ID4 alien mothership is USB compatible

Well at least they are playing some Boards Of Canada :D yey!

This. Could've been a good program too:( We don't need jokes on a science show.
