Hi everyone,

I have been considering adding some further subtle modifications to my A45 recently, I am happy with the performance so I am looking to enhance the interior ambience with lighting. My car already has the ambient lighting pack, but it is a little bit too understated for my taste. I am considering a starlight headliner, These were originally seen in Rolls Royce, but now I can see many aftermarket companies offering to fit these, for a price of course. Any thoughts?

really, that's a thing? i like my rbg and bling but that, in a car, screams 'traveler' to me and i don't mean the interstellar type of traveler!

Its a bit Chelsea.

I cant believe how much they charge for this as well. Its just a headliner with holes in it, with some LEDs behind it.

Oh yeah, I think it looks awesome... in the heavily doctored marketing photo.
The reality, however, is that it will look like you got some cheap Christmas tree lights on sale at your local garden centre and, with your eyes shut, stapled them to the inside of your car.

Case in point:

I think you should do it...
You are already single, right? No kids to worry about, or anything?

Nice in a Rolls Royce, terrible in anything else. Leave the poorly done tacky tat to the elite.

I think you should have a trial run with some of these bad boys and see how you like it. Just be careful of all the positive attention you're likely to get at car meets and such.

Another classic Squidward thread :p

Exactly my thought before i even opened the thread and saw the OPs name.

You've already wrecked the A45, this isn't going to make it any worse (or better depending on which way you look at it!)
