Why didnt it go well? only 18 dead compared to thousands (unknown for sure) enemy.

Although the UK troops may be more experiance dont make the assumption that US soldiers cant handle it:)

i was using a statement from US Command mate;)

Pulled US Marines & UK Desert Rats out of Basra cos they werent making headway, and moved in other British troops that had more experience in the matter.

I wasnt cussin US troops, hell, i've spent all day doing the opposite!!

:) :)

Why dont they bomb the Apache? I mean cruise missle it or something that way the enemy cant use it.

I am sure that the pilots already destroyed the hard dirves of the aircraft when they knew they were going down but no sense in letting the enemy have your technology

I;ve been wondering about this all day.

One of my theories is: There are a lot of Civvies poking their noses around it just to have a look.

Other theory is they are hoping to recover it once the area is captured.

Personally, i'd fly a load of planes over, drop leaflets telling everyone to move away, then CABOOOM it.

Those sneaky Ruskies mite starts poking their nose in:D ;)

i love the way they are prolly making those 2 pilots drink water on camera, then when the camera goes, they will prolly take the water away, if u get me.

They didnt look hurt though. Looked scared. I would.

HUME: We understand that the State Department has received credible reports that Saddam Hussein has planned to use chemical weapons in the south and blame it on us. What about that, sir?

POWELL: There are such reports. I have no doubt that he would do such a thing if he thought it would serve his interests. So we are concerned about it. We will follow this matter carefully, we will do everything we can to gather all the intelligence we can. He has to be careful here because the world knows he has done it before and, were he to do it again, it would be immediate acknowledgement of the fact that he has weapons of mass destruction of the kind that he has been swearing that he does not have and we have been insisting he does have and we continue to believe he does have.

I could have said that tbh!!

:D Evidently!
