Speaking on Iraqi television, Iraqi Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Sultan Hashem Ahmed said the 6th Armored Division has retained a favorable position in Basra though the unit is surrounded :D :D

reminds me of WWII - Easy company

When they are surrounded in a town and the commander says something like

'They have us surrounded, the poor ********':p

If aircrew were lost over Baghdad then Central command would most likely deny such an occurance to give the crew as great a chance to escape as possible.

Note its been 9 hours (?) since the first report, there were loads of camera wielding journalists present. So where are the pictures of the parachutes or crashed plane or captured aircrew?
