Haha i'm 19, i've had a week off since Friday last week, and i've been waiting from then until today to order and recieve, it's been mad! Haven't spotted a City Link van yet, but i've got a perfect window view of the drive and road in front of the house :D

My brother had something delivered in a white van, thought City Link had given me a hand down van lol!

Can't take much more of this.

right... I have a worry. My brother insists all screwdrivers end up magnetised for some technical reason I can't remember so If I choose one and it has build up a small charge will it mess things up? or can I demagnetise it some how?

Don't just take my word for it but I've always used a (purposefully) magnetic screwdriver without damaging anything.

yeh the corsair build guide said a magnetic one won't hurt I just wanted re-assurance :p now where does one find a screwdriver? I guess thats a trip down the garage then LOL got my camera charged and will keep laptop nearby for all my dumb girl questions too :o

the cpu, heatsink and ram are installed (apparently!!!) next according to the manual on here is fit it in case... I think I'm gunna have a bloody heart attack! but it is fun too ;)

nice one,

The only thing i think that i would struggle with my own build, is not putting all the componemnts in, but attatching all the wires and connectors to the right places :p

I'm having a little tizz over cables at the mo  I can see me still being at this tomorrow morning :p not sleeping till damn things done, well unless when I try to do the boot and everything it doesn't do anything then I might cry LOL

the pci cards are in except the wireless one because apparently have to run some software first then turn off open up and install... unless you guys tell me different  netgear wg311t

What OS is it, if its XP right click on my computer on the start menu and click poperties then go to hardware and device manager then find your wireless card and disable it. Then install the drivers and then enable it the way you disabled it.

can I disable it on vista? it got to 3am and thought I should get some sleep :p I'm now going to do the last finishing touches to the insides :D photos to follow ;)

yup its easier in vista to be honest.

Just search in the start menu for ' Device Manager' and it will show it.
