Starting WoW from scratch

Ok so thanks to a little thing like losing my blizz authenticator and blizzard thinking im a gold seller i have to make a new account, not a real problem but annoying non the less.
Anyway i want to go hord this time around as i was a lvl 80 night elf druid which i liked but everytime i saw a troll i was like "awesome they are like rockers on steroids, me want".
So the last question is which class is easy'ish to level up, i was going to go with hunter as i quite like the idea of having a pet.

Any help would be much appreciated :)
 
Always found Frost Mages easiest to level , but I ain't played since before the last expansion, but I guess that rules out your Orc.
 
Troll hunters are pretty good, good compliment of racials.
To go for the other pet class (warlock) you will have to go for an undead, Blood Elf or Orc.

To be fair, every class is pretty easy to level now.

Go hunter, create a cast rotation macro and bound it to your mouse scroll wheel, you can level up whilst you sleep pretty much
 
I was going to resub for Cataclysm to give it a go but lost my authenticator, and they want a ridiculous amount of stuff to ID me so I can't be bothered.

Annoying as I had some good chars and a lot of gold.

To be fair, I'd be more annoyed if they had really lax security measures which means you could easily go to them and get control of someone elses account :P

Just because some one can't be bothered doesn't mean others feel the same... Better security is the way forward :D
 
My old wow account (i stopped subscribing almost 2 years ago) seems to have been nabbed by someone , at least my password doesn't work anymore on the websites account management and it says that its been merged with a battle net account, which I certainly didn't do. Had 4 or 5 max level characters and the usual kinds of stuff. Not really bothered as haven't played in 2 years and got no intention of returning so they might as well keep using the characters for all I care.
 
I think Hunter is the easiest to level, Warlock coming second. I hear good things about Paladins as they seem hard to kill, but personally I think having your own tank in a pet, being able to heal it and then feigning death when the going gets bad takes quite some beating.
 
Hunters are definitely one of the easiest to level but if you want a more interesting and streamlined levelling experience then wait for Cataclysm as there will be lots more people levelling for Dungeon Runs etc.
