I like Star Trek, so its peaked my curiosity more than past Sci-fi MMOs.

Having said that, I suspect that the instancing will annoy me too much. I'll wait and see what the consensus is in about 6 months time, if the opinions are still positive in June/July then I will pick it up.

i bought the Special Edition with a few friends a month back now.

Got my beta key through yesterday, so I can start playing tomorrow hopefully

Will come back with my findings.

This year is looking good for MMOs, LEGO Universe, Star Trek Online and the new Star Wars MMO all slated for 2010 release

I ordered from HMV today. Should get a code, but probably not for a bit.. didnt want to pay full wack for it as im not a big Trekkie, but do enjoy setting my phasers to fry everything.

I'm mainly going to annoy real trekkies with my complete lack of knowledge and misplaced quotes.
