Startup problems

Hmm, my only other system is a basic pc, onboard graphics ect, with an unbranded 300w psu which i wouldnt chance to power mine lol

Fair enough - then i would up the vCore, as suggested before, as it's a simple test that may yield results (just have to wait until tomorrow :/)

thanks again, will do that after i run memtest :)
and now that i think about it, my psu makes a humming noise (very low) every few seconds Like...Hummmmm..then quiet for 3 seconds, Hummm....

and while humming i feel a slight vibrate through the computer when i touch the case.
 
Just ran a full loop of memtest with no errors, and upped the Vcore to 1.43v from 1.42v

Will post back tomowrrow morning with results :)

That vCore seems very high for an E6600 at stock - if it was on auto before i would experiment with 1.35v for now (this is still relatively high but should rule out a vCore voltage issue if it was one.).

Cheers for that, Now down to 1.3125V, Shall get back to you tomowrrow morning with the result :)
