Starwars viewing order?

456, then 1. Then scratch out your eyes, dig out your ear canals and be in a room when 2 and 3 are on

weird, I thought it was a matter of preference. guess not.

Well of course it is, I have simply never, ever seen anyone show any kind of preference towards the first one over any of the others, so I was a little surprised to see it :)

I liked the first one - I couldn't stand the story on the second and the third was just godawful.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

My parents think Star Wars is fantastic :)

As does my 60 year old father.

Does he however wet his pants and go in a psychopathic rant about Jar Jar binks?

No he doesnt.

4,5,6 then maybe :-

1 had the best light saber fight, but it also had the kid, the pod race and jarjar. So its pretty bad. Solution, watch the last 30 mins.
2 at least had a decent battle scene, yet had Lucas' poor attempts at a romantic story. That puts it at not bad but not good.
3 had the NOOOO bit that made me laugh more than anything else. They should have devoted more time to the anakin into Vader transformation tbh. Its ok, better than 2.

456123 - make sure you watch the original version of 4. Others are less important which version you watch.

Could people 'star out' the spoilers, remember this guy hasn't watched them yet!

i agree to that viewing order, but i thought the reason they didn't release them in 123456 was because they didn't have the technology to do the big fight scenes on land, and the races etc..

Pah, the reason "they" never made 1,2,3 back in the day was because there were never any plans too back then. I don't buy all of George's rhetoric for a second. What happened was he realised there was a boatload more cash to be made from the star wars franchise, invented this story about how he had always planned to make the prequels and then raped my childhood memorys like a dune raider would a moisture farmers daughter. HAH, RIGHT!

Who me, bitter? :D

as pretty much everyone else has said

4,5,6 then 1,2,3.

The first 3 arent as good as the "other" first 3. But they got a bad rep, where there actually still good films. Just 1 & 2 arent worthy of the starwars name.
