About the game

Trailer:

The end is here. Life as you knew it has gone to hell after the mother of all zombie outbreaks. Now you and the few scattered survivors must band together to survive and rebuild in a 3rd-person action game set in a dynamic open world. You choose where to make your stand, designing and fortifying your home base, performing daring raids for food and ammunition, and rescuing other playable survivors with unique talents. The open, sandbox world develops in real-time, shaped by your actions, dynamically generating content based on your choices and the ever-increasing zombie threat.

Edit : Cost will be 1600 points on Xbox marketplace.

That actually looks ok, but it is a pity they dont have a console MMO version of a Zombie apocolypes.
I would love it if they had a console vesrion of DayZ. Now I have never played that game as I dont own a PC, but I have watched tons of youtube videos, man if they made that for console, I probably wouldnt play anthing else ever again.

Co-op will be added later apparently in a patch.

Also, depending on the success of this game, the developer will release an MMO version for PC and 360. I think it's called Class 4. At least, that's it's working title.

I'll be picking this up though. I've been waiting for a decent Zombie survival game to come along for ages. At the very least it provides a nice stop gap until Last of Us comes out in a couple of weeks.

Looks like a very interesting game, it's got 8.9 from ign. They said a few technical shortcomings such as clipping and texture pop up let it down, but are minor. Really hope they can add co-op as it sounds brilliant.

Have just had a quick glance at that review. Pretty impressive.

Would definitely purchase.

I'm not to impressed at the moment, sneaking and killing isn't working for me, just pushes the zombie. Feels like im playing with major lag at times and I thought there was just some zombie arms sticking through walls but it appears to be everywhere. I would like a save function and would have loved multiple saves so I could play a couple games at a time.

If added co-op is coming then might as well wait. They can sort out any bugs and it'l probably be on sale before I get round to it... not loving the 1600 msp price point!

are people really complaining about the price? this looks like it has more content than most £40 titles. I read they hope to add co-op in the future, will probably depend on how well it sells.
