Hey,

I've just purchased a set of Logitech z906's to replace my X530's of 9 years. Plugged everything in to my Xonar DG with the 3.5mm jacks and I am getting interference on the centre left speaker whenever my hdd/processor does anything, i've tried swapping it with another speaker and still getting static, uncoiled the wires and moved everything, still static. I've just plugged my X530's back in and now I am getting static on the centre left speaker on these aswell. What on Earth has happened?

Strange how it's on only the left, but not the right. Have you changed anything since you got the 906's?

You could try reseating the card, and if that doesn't help try re-installing the driver.

I was getting this on a fresh install of win 10, they are very old surround sound speakers but work great usually.

To fix my problem i found my old drivers i use for win 7 the ac97 sound driver and restarted pc and all was fine.

maybe you got a driver problem .

I've tried reseating the sound card and am still getting the interference, I've had W10 installed for quite a while with the x530's and they were fine until I plugged them back in after I unplugged the Z906's. Even turning up/down the volume with the knob creates static, as i'm typing now every letter makes a click on the speaker.

Any ideas why this has just started after trying the Z906's? I thought it was just gonna be a problem with them but after plugging my X530's back in, i'm getting interference in the same speaker
