Hi folks, just after a little bit of help please.

I would be very grateful for all the advice I can get.

I performed a re-audit where I retrospectively examined the medical notes for 55 patients with possible heart failure (HF) attending a clinic. In both the initial audit 2008 and the re-audit 2014 there were 55 patients. I now wish to compare these two audits in terms of demographics, co-morbidites (all categorical data), presenting symptoms (categorical data) and medications (categorical data) to see if there are statistically significant results between the two audits.

What form of statistical analysis would be most appropriate, if any at all? Would it be descriptive analysis or, would it be possible to perform Chi square or Fisher Exact test for categorical data?

Thanks
